Rivers: There are two major rivers present in Vietnam. In the south there is Mekong River and in the north Red River. Each of the rivers forms their deltas near the South China Sea.
Crops: Cash crops like vegetables, rice, rubber trees, sugar cane, coffee and tea plantations are available. Fruit bearing trees are also cultivated in Vietnam.
Flora and Fauna: The Vietnamese really love environment. They are really aware of saving environment. Vietnam is the land for many trees and wild life and the reason is the subtropical climate with abundance of water. Different wild animals are present like crocodiles, water buffalo, monkeys, snakes, tigers, wild boars, panthers, etc. Some other animals that are found in the beautiful tropical forests of Vietnam are birds, innumerable fish, insects, etc. Domestic animals are common and the examples can be given as cattle, chicken, pigs, ducks and dogs. In the jungles various trees are available. These are both ugly and beautiful. Ferns, vines, ferns and mosses are also available.
Topography: Vietnam is the abode of mountains, attractive beaches and waterfalls. Deltas, tropical forests, etc. are the other attractions for the tourist’s. Various animals and plants are also present in Vietnam. In the north there are alpine peaks, and the Red River Delta. In the Central part of Vietnam the ethnic minorities are there. The South Vietnam’s tourist attraction would be Ho Chi Minh City, delta of Mekong River. Coastal forests and hidden islands are also present.
Temperature: In Vietnam the temperature varies from place to place. In the southern and central Vietnam it is on the higher side. In the northern region the weather is much cooler. There is uniqueness in the weather of Vietnam which occurs due to the presence of both tropical and temperate zones. It is seen in many times that one place experiences sunny climate and the other endure cold weather.
