Hanoi is the capital city of Vietnam. Vietnam is the third largest among the three Indo-Chinese countries which claims to be a tropical country. The climate differs through out the nation. You cannot have same weather in all the time. In central and southern Vietnam the whether is warm and with some humidity throughout the year. The north side of the country is usually cool.
You can experience rainfall between the month of May and September. But in Vietnam rainfall is highly unpredictable and also infrequent. The reason of this can be stated as Vietnam is mainly mountainous in the northwest with the presence of central highlands facing the South China Sea. In this region rainfall is higher. Heavy rainfall can be experienced in the coastal and the central highland areas from the month of September to January.
Seasons: In South Vietnam there are two seasons. Monsoon starts from May-October while winter season starts from November-April. North Vietnam has usually four seasons. These are spring from January-March, summer from April-June, autumn from July-September and dry from October-December.
