The examples can be given as tug-of-war, overturning of the palanquins, buffalo-fights, cockfights, rope pulling, etc. Climbing, fishing, wrestling, pigeon race, rowing, etc. are also very interesting games that are organized in Vietnam during the festivals.

Events like Thay Pagoda Festival, Dong Festival, Huong Pagoda Festival, Dau Pagoda Festivals, Keo Pagoda Festival, Dong Ky Festival, Dong Festival, the Festival of Trung Sisters Pagoda, etc. are considered very propitious among the villagers. The neighboring villages usually take part in these. These festivals are full of religious rites and beliefs and considered as historical events. Folk songs are usually sung with the traditional dance and music.

The enjoyment and entertainment made during these festivals are solely dedicated to the natural powers. And these powers are lightning, rain, and cloud because of the association with the production of agricultural crops.
